i just finished reading a book that is generating mega-hype in the u.s at the moment. “fifth avenue 5.am: audrey hepburn, breakfast at tiffany’s and the dawn of the modern woman” by sam wasson. the highlights? discovering details about henry mancini’s work (‘moon river’ was, in fact, first given the green light after being performed on a piano at the beverly wilshire hotel) and background scoops relating to blake edwards filming the famed party scenes. i particularly loved this film review from british magazine, photoplay: <\/p>\n
