this mannequin stands outside a great vintage store on abbot kinney boulevard in venice beach. she’s a special beauty not only because she was one of the first subjects i photographed for my blog when i moved here around ten months ago, standing all supreme and majestic in red, white and blue (unified coloring for usa and france, alike). but also because of the fact that mannequins with a double dose of character are hard to come by these days and for me, photographing her is one of the things i most look forward to when riding my bike towards the area.
