35 feels good…

some birthdays are of-the-norm but today i feel exceptionally fine, and 1974 was a good year. in selecting an image for the day i had a few to choose from but settled on this, an interpretation of who i am by artist’s gil bumby after staring at me for about 60 seconds last year at miami art basel. nice one.

tea time…

at my destination of choice complete with sterling silver art deco tea settings and an ultra-serene ambience. hotel daniel in the eighth arrondissement of paris is truly, madly, deeply a gem of a find for anyone in the city of light wanting something special. because an hour of solitude surrounded by sparrows on the wall and a quasi-oriental vibe spells happiness folks. one of my new favorite french discoveries. to see what i mean click HERE

as does a poster pasted to the walls of colette as part of the rodarte-curated pop-up shop…

not forgetting the ultra-charismatic german writer jina khayyer (captured this time last month at the montana bar in paris)…

and a pillow case (from the rodarte pop-up shop at colette) imprinted with the words that everyone imagines at one time or another…
