spotted in the marais in paris, franco/japanese journalist eko sato is one heck of a happening lady in the french capital. teaming a beige mackintosh trench with ladylike heels, she tops it off with a woven straw bag which she picked up in morocco last month for just three euros. considering the famous tale of jane birkin and how the infamous hermés “birkin bag” got its name, for a split-second this photo made me draw a parallell between the two. could eko sato have a hermés bag named after herself one day too perhaps? knowing eko, i serioiusly wouldn’t doubt it.
