harp’s in heaven must be working overtime this evening as legendary music composer john barry died yesterday, aged 77. for many, many years i’ve been a huge fan of his work and throughout the course of updating this blog have often posted to barry’s iconic compositions. although his award-winning score for the film ‘out of africa’ rates highly, it was his epic soundtrack for the bond film ‘goldfinger’ that really rocked my socks…see what i mean HERE
