sheeks

i first met the ultra-dynamic sheeks in new york earlier this month and was pretty much instantly blown away by this girl’s energy and super-savvy perceptions of all that happens around her on a day to day basis. here she is below, strutting her stuff on the street’s of harlem. think smart-ass with a twist and a razor-sharp witt. case in point: check her blog HERE

accessory watch

note: christian dior scarf and black chanel bag. both undoubtedly vintage finds topped off with a green polka-dot dress. yes!

london contrasts…

a visiting montreal native exemplifies the canadian colorway.
and a london local battles for her right to exist as a walking pantone chart. only on the streets of central london
where anything goes…

amanda

pretty lady here amanda is part of the reason why my postings have been in hiatus mode over the past few days. i’ve been in nyc working on a nike project interviewing kids about the status of street wear today, and the results are a heavy-handed mix of ego and eccentricity (more to follow soon).
in the meantime, here is an example why electric blue sequins in rate highly on my richter scale of cool as amanda wears it well.

sarah

five prime reasons why sarah ranks as delightfully delovely in my book:
1. her sister is leah from street wear label, married to the mob (keepin’ it real via the mac sweeney vibe)
2. she is pretty much one of the few nineteen year old models who has the looks minus the hipster attitude in new york city
3. the “what you see is what you get” look in this picture is the real deal
