just in from the prada publicity department, here’s a shockingly horrible shot of eva mendes sporting perhaps the most highly coveted sunglass frames this summer. the specs have already been featured within the blogosphere upon all of the MOST INFLUENTIAL sites not to mention making their presence felt in all of the right magazines. do prada really need to deploy an email with an image of mendes looking as unfavorable as this? and furthermore, don’t you think it defeats the purpose of having a star wear the product if they look majorly pissed off wearing it? i’m a die-hard prada fan as much as the next person and yes, i’ll confess, i even grew up with prada ad campaigns taped to my bedroom wall. star affiliation is one thing, but c’mon people, this is just silly.
