welcome companions is a prime example of what is currently floating my boat. this ultra-clever accessory collection produced by L.A-based designer laurel consuelo broughton promises to be a mainstay for me over the spring / summer months ahead in australia. i’m particularly nuts about the gangster-styled derby hat that doubles as a clutch bag (its perfect for the iphone, camera, mini notebook and more) and is so totally witty (not to mention a fine conversation starter with whomever is sitting at the table next to you)…
