the palm springs yacht club at the parker hotel in palm springs is one of those places where one becomes gobsmacked and feels hardcore pangs of appreciation for life, love, the art of spa’ing and so on. think saline pools, lavender oil steam rooms, moroccan dark rooms (for relaxing), fluffy robes and a garden patio where i encourage you to order the coconut for a “snack.” good times folks.
