i was so appreciative for having been invited to the ballet in melbourne on friday evening celebrating the australian ballet’s 50th anniversary gala performance. what a sublime experience with special guests from the san francisco ballet and the stuttgart ballet company. although i have to say, at a newly-turned 38 years of age how was i among the youngest there? guests under the age of 40 years young would have been around 5% – how is it possible that an art form as beautiful as the ballet is not being marketed to a new generation, just as it is in europe and america? #noncapisco #jenecomprendspas #cmonaussiesgetittogether
