sending a loving shout-out to my 97 year-old nanna who headed up to heaven yesterday. iris was a bonafide legend who marveled most with her agility and ultra-delovely looks well into her senior citizen years. she loved to look the part, even whilst sitting pretty at the nursing home, decked out to the nines in fancy accessories and make-up articulately applied every morn. she used to tell me “a little bit of powder and paint maketh the lady what she ain’t.” here’s to you nanna, r.i.p you lovely gal.
