claire & spencer…
claire and spencer are one of my favorite couples. i used to hit the party scene in L.A with claire searching for eligible single men once upon a time. then, on a blind date one evening a few years back, she met spencer, a bonafide legend on all levels. he lived in N.Y, she lived in L.A, so what did they do? they did the long-distance thing for a while and after several months she decamped to N.Y (brooklyn, to be exact). one year ago they married in marfa, texas. and yesterday i saw them again for the first time. as you can see, claire has a bun in the oven (a boy, i think). her due date is august 14th. how good does she look? how good does he look? ah, claire and spencer, one of my favorite couples.
work it lucky!!!!

yet another reason why i love melbourne…
shout-out to pepin moore gallery…
chinatown’s art scene in downtown L.A is a funny little place where neighboring gallery owners don’t acknowledge one another and often at times, throughout the day, you could correctly describe it as a veritable ghost town. there is however a lot of talent being pushed around these parts and on saturday my lovely art pal liz belli introduced me to PEPIN MOORE GALLERY, a split-level treasure trove of artistic integrity and inspiring energy. definitely recommended viewing…and check out lucky on the couch upstairs, she didn’t want to leave!!
