missla has called tokyo home for nearly a decade now, and after years of corresponding with her via our superfuture.com links (missla takes care of tokyo, i take care of paris) we finally managed to meet, even if it was just for a few minutes.

check this out: i met keiko in tokyo last week as a friend introduced me to her at the comme des garcons boutique. she has worked with the company for 31 years, ever since the beginning. keiko is down with fidelity y’all! she was really nervous about getting her picture taken insisting that she looked awful. in the end she came around though, after calling CDG headquarters to check that it was ok to be photographed. i particularly like her turquoise ring and the way in which she’s working it against the black trench coat. keiko knows where its at.

quite simply, there needs to be a picture of this kid’s face next to the word “visionaire” in the dictionary. period.

loveless is a mega-hip shopping destination in tokyo where the sales staff provide just as much intrigue as the products merchandised within the store itself. check out our little friend here, who obligingly said yes for a photo and then sprung this spontaneous model pose at the last second. what a natural!

on this, my 100th posting, i’d like to send a big-up thanks to everyone who has supported this blog since day one (that’s july for anyone who has just logged on for the first time).
