thomas jeppe’s “seaside vernacular”
you know how much i love to spread the word when i stumble across stellar talent: well check out these dreamy, hypnotic lines created by melbourne-based artist thomas jeppe as part of his upcoming show aptly titled “seaside vernacular.” comprising an awe-inspiring mix of paintings and sculptures, jeppe’s latest exhibition opens at utopian slumps gallery on saturday eve. see you there…
daycare first anniversary…
in yet another hi-five moment for melbourne (my favourite city in the world), last wkend a troop of music lovers both young and old (see odette and myself above..note: we know how to party), celebrated another sunday afternoon day care event at the carlton hotel. this time around we were even served cake as the first year anniversary gave us reason to believe we are in fact the lucky ones. thank you founders (and new friends) laila and biscuit for giving it as good as it gets.
i’m back! if your eyes are following these lines i’d like to express a HUGE thank you for sticking with me in my quest of raising the level of this site. the result is an eagle eye view of interests, an ode to assorted cultural influences and the ways in which i try to incorporate them into my work and day-to-day life.
a considerable amount has happened in four weeks and there are a bunch of photos, reports and recommendations that i look forward to sharing with you (especially for those who are not following me on twitter / instagram and missed out on coverage during march). without further ado: welcome back everybody! now let’s do this!
